This issue will be focused on the topic "European Integration and Migration: trends and challenges".

This issue aims to collect research studies that highlight the various facets of international migration, such as: types of migration, the migration-development nexus, to borderless migration, refugees, return migration, policy changes and the implications of all of them for both the sending and receiving countries, economic implications of remittances, and their social and psychological costs on different segments of the population, economic and demographic policies to provide advanced knowledge in these field, etc.
